f-acclaimed Dance hall king of Ghana Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has announced that he would be taking a bow from the music scene in a couple of years to come
The Ayoo” hit makes in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay show indicated that he had set his retirement date. He said that he was due for retirement in 3 years’ time
In effect, the “Taking Over” creator has hinted that he would be retiring in 2020. Shatta Wale indicated that his manager was aware of the timeline he has set for himself to exit the music industry
“Kakai” creator said he disagreed with people who claimed that his career was going to take a nose dive soon which was going to make him irrelevant in the showbiz industry.
The “Dance Hall King” maker indicated that he had a ‘future’ he had to see to and this necessitated his ‘dropping of the mic’ to see to his ambitions in the future
During the interview Shatta Wale indicated that that those who came before them in the music industry failed to train their successors well. He added that he was not a braggart like people were made to believe. He continued that he was hardworking and saved a lot ensuring that only the right things were done
id he would not brag over the things he did not own that was why he was taking advantage of his fame and wealth. He indicated that he was going to put his name on all the vehicles he owned.
