Okyeame Kwame Pays Visit To UGCC Founders Final Resting Place

Popular Ghanaian musician, Okyeame Kwame, has paid a visit to the tomb of George Alfred Grant, founder of the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC) in Axim, Western Region, with his young children.

An internationally recognized artist, Okyeame Kwame is well known (and well loved) by Ghanaians far and wide for his consistently overt ways of representing Ghanaian culture and heritage wherever he finds himself.
In a recent post on his official Instagram page, the artist has shared photos of himself and his two young kids in the Western Region, visiting the last resting place of one of Ghana's historical personalities, Mr. George Alfred Grant, popularly known as Paa Grant.

Paa Grant, other than being credited as the founder the UGCC, is also said to have paid the 100 Pound Sterling boat fee for Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to come back to Ghana from Liverpool, England, after being appointed as the new party's Secretary General in 1947.
